Course Overview

This training course is suitable for everyone with no knowledge of orchids required to start. The only prerequisite is an interest in orchids and a desire to learn.

This training course is an online course so all training is done from the comfort of your home at a time which suits you. Trainers provide regular online tutorials and are always available to answer questions, so you are never alone. The course is split into multiple easy to learn modules followed by a short exam to access your understanding of that modules material. Subsequent modules build on the training from earlier modules so your knowledge and understanding of orchids build in an easy and paced manner. This course will take around one year to complete, but you can complete the course at your own pace so you can finish quicker or take longer depending on your needs.

To become an A.N.O.S. judge, you will also need to judge A.N.O.S. orchids at orchid meetings and shows but when and where this judging occurs will depend on where you live. Our trainers will organise the orchid judging with you but you may be judging orchids as soon as a few months after commencing your course but don’t worry as we will be assisting you every step of the way.
