A.N.O.S. Inc. develops policies from time to time to guide its operations. These policies are recorded below so A.N.O.S. members are aware of these policies and can follow them when dealing with A.N.O.S.

In addition, A.N.O.S. has a constitution and by-laws which A.N.O.S. must  follow.

Nomenclature Policy

A.N.O.S. Inc will encourage and promote the use of Kew/RHS accepted nomenclature as documented Plants Of the World Online (or its successors) as updated from time to time.

Furthermore, the online source for hybrid names will be the Registration Authority for Orchid Hybrids.

Where a contributor or owner uses a differing name, then there shall be an appropriate reference to the “accepted” name.
